Bath "spa" time

We have found out that Emersen does not like to get cold before getting into her bathtub. In order to solve this problem, I pulled out a space heater that we had in the closet and we use this (always supervised!!) to warm up the bathroom. She immediately gets relaxed before getting into the bath. It looks as if she feels like she needs to plug her nose in one picture...she makes the funniest faces! As you can tell, she really likes the warmth and she can't wait until she is old enough for a trip to a real spa!

Hard to believe she is four weeks old!

Wow, these past four weeks have flown by! We can't believe that our little girl is already one month old! Emersen and I headed to the doctor for her one month checkup. It was our first outing together and it went really well. She now weighs 11 pounds, 7 oz! Our pediatrician says that she looks "spectacular" and is well proportioned. :)

Third week fun...

Emersen started to really show her strength during the third week. She started holding her head up so well! I was also lucky enough to share my birthday with our beautiful daughter and we had an awesome visit with Aunt Megan!

On to the second week...

Here are some favorites from Emersen's second week-I guess she slept a lot this week and started to make some funny faces!

First stroller walk...

Emersen got to go outside for her first stroller walk and I was so excited to get out of the house! She was so alert and just looked around the whole time. It wasn't a very long walk, but it felt great! Now if we can only find the solution to keeping the pesky sun out of her eyes...
