More vacation shots

Before we left on vacation, Emersen decided to surprise me with rolling over from her tummy to her back. She has done it a couple of more times since then. Her other new "love" is to put everything in her mouth from her fingers to any toy. Here are just a few more shots from our vacation........

Summer vacation

We just

returned from a wonderful trip to St. Simons Island, Georgia! We went with Trevor's parents, Maw Maw, his siblings and their children.

It was a beautiful place and we were lucky enough to stay in a gorgeous house that had a pool and was just feet from the beach. Emersen got to see the Atlantic Ocean, swim in a pool, and meet her cousins~she had so much fun! Trevor and I were so happy to relax and hang out for the week. We all took turns making dinner at night (so needless to say, we had a lot of great food!), celebrating birthdays (Mi Mi, Trevor, and Maw Maw), lounging by the pool, walking on the sandbars, and chatting. We also took family pictures at the beach on Thursday and all of the kids did a great job! We had such a great time and the week just flew by! Not surprisingly, we took a ton of pictures so I will post more later; for some reason, it has taken me forever to upload these shots but I will get more up soon. :)

Emersen has been working really hard the past few weeks on rolling over. Trevor got this shot of her last night as she was trying to roll from her back to her tummy. She just can't figure out how to roll completely over, but she likes lying on her side now too! :) She is bound to get it figured out soon!

Bumbo!!

Emersen had her first time sitting in a Bumbo while we were in Indiana. I think she was pretty comfortable although she still 'bobbles' a little bit. She just loves any position that lets her look around!
